He is a model of breed type, conformation, temperament, athletic ability, good health and longevity, and he passes on those desirable traits not only to his immediate offspring, but also to future generations, and also crosses well with mares of various pedigrees.

The value of any breeding program depends upon the breeder's goals and selection of the appropriate horses with the desired characteristics and traits. These factors all require careful analysis and consideration. Selection is not a concept to be taken lightly if success is to be imminent. Breeding for success requires diligence, patience and time.
